Our Approach
Built Around Your Organization
Every organization approaches internships and workforce development from a different starting point. Goals, resources, internal capabilities, existing processes, and workforce priorities all influence what an effective solution should look like.
Internity Consulting begins by understanding those factors before recommending a path forward. Rather than applying a predetermined model, we work with organizations to identify their needs, determine where support can add value, and shape practical solutions that align with their goals and capacity.
Determine Needs and Priorities
Organizations may come to Internity at different stages. Some are developing an internship program for the first time, while others may be strengthening an existing program, addressing specific challenges, or exploring how internships can support broader workforce goals.
Before recommending a path forward, Internity considers what is already in place, what the organization is trying to accomplish, and where gaps or opportunities may exist. This helps determine which needs deserve attention and which priorities should guide the engagement.
- Existing program structure and internship practices
- Organizational goals and workforce priorities
- Supervisor, stakeholder, and internal resource readiness
- Gaps and opportunities for program improvement
Steps for Success
Consultation
We begin by discussing your organization’s goals, priorities, existing internship practices, and any challenges or opportunities that may need attention. For organizations developing a new program, the conversation helps establish the objectives, resources, and internal capabilities that will shape the program.
Evaluation
We examine existing program practices, resources, processes, and workplace readiness to determine what is working, where gaps may exist, and what may be needed to support the organization’s goals.
Recommendation
Based on what we learn, Internity develops practical recommendations aligned with the organization’s needs, priorities, and capacity. Recommendations may address program structure, recruitment and selection, onboarding, supervisor preparation, communication, evaluation, or other areas identified during the engagement.
Implementation
We help translate recommendations into action through practical tools, guidance, training, and implementation support. Depending on the engagement, this may include developing timelines and resources, preparing supervisors and stakeholders, strengthening program administration, and supporting the practices needed to move the program forward.
